Forthcoming and final dispatches of 2010 (1 Viewer)

I would love to see a Grant tank. Maybe make it with just one crewman to help keep the cost down like was done on some recent tanks like the Panzer III and the Jagdpanzer.

Grants or Shermans for North Africa are long overdue.
More British 8th Army infantry as well.

Seems like we area overdue on Egyptians and 8th army.

You have to figure there's another Normandy village building. And it wouldn't shock me to see the Me262. I'd imagine there would be some LW ground crew with that.

A real curve ball would be more Italians. We were promised fighting follow-ups. And at some point, an aircraft.

How I wished I'd had more money when the Egyptian range was launched, I loved the Sphinx and Temple facade releases and if they were out now I'd be in there like a shot. Oh well, can't collect everything I suppose:(

Rob

A nice Italian fighter would be the Macchi Folgore or Veltro which looks great and can be coloured in striking med colourations. That for me would be the ultimate ''italian'' curve ball.

The 1914 French in action were promised "at the end of 2010" so here's hoping for those but you never know. Real West is a possibility. As is 8th Army. Kriegsmarine too. Maybe even Napoleonics. You never know, possibly some combination of all or some of the above.

If Andy makes more WW1 figures I'd love to see some for the Somme.Any Allied nation would be fine; Brits at the Sunken Lane, Canadians at Beaumont Hamel, South Africans at Delville wood or the Aussies at Pozieres...see I'm not fussy;)

Rob

I've thought about the possibility of the Somme, Andy said he wants to release them but I can't imagine it happenning any time soon. It would probably be some time after the 1917 English Cambrai figures are retired, as Somme figures would look practically identical to those. French Verdun figures in horizon bleu would be great, but heres hoping for those 1914 French on Wednesday.

Absolutely right, that's why I wan to use the Cambrai figures in my Somme dio , I think they will work fine .

marksable..

Thats a good question and apart from the usual naval bands and marching sets that are covered under the Berlin 38 range I struggled to think of what could be released when the series was announced.

I suppose they could do Kapitans or Admirals launches which, would not be too large but, most I could think of would be more land based which, IMO restricts the range a fair bit. Maybe, some naval trucks carrying supplies etc

Will be interesting to see where this ranges goes for sure

Please Napoleonics (Austrians - White uniforms )

'Until now we used to say that the Greeks fight like heroes.
Now we shall say : The heroes fight like Greeks .'

- WHINSTON CHURCHILL -

(From a speech he delivered from the BBC in the first days of the GRECO -Italian war in 1940 .)

Just looked at previous Dispatches and last January saw amongst other items 8th Army,USAAF and Luftwaffe releases, so maybe we will indeed see a return to the 8th Army:)

Rob

Its got to be 8th Army mind you I said that when we got a raft of AK but, I do think we will end the year in the heat of the north afrikan desert. Which, considering we have a foot of snow might be quite nice
Mitch

I would like some D-Day Americans, on the beach, paras, supply trucks, maybe a new willys jeep?:D:cool:
