Ok so after Mitch's thread I decided to get this flak 41 before it sold out. It was one of those that I knew I'd regret it if I didn't get it.
Anyway really glad I did get it as it's a tremendous piece and different from the other German artillery pieces I have.
Can't afford the crew for a good long while but decided to mix and match the gun crew from other K&C sets. The shells aren't quite right but 99 out of a hundred people would never know! :)

Nice one James, looks very nice and the crew work really well, good purchase there mate!

Rob

Mate- I really shouldn't but I'm glad I did!

LOL! You don't need an excuse James, its what makes K&C the best, you just can't help yourself-and its Chritsmas!

Rob

Eazy...

Really glad you got the Flak gun. looks great with the crew you have put with it.
Mitch

Cheers Mitch and Rob- you've probably spotted the crew are from the Hummel, Gepard and Grille!
I think this is one of those pieces sought after later down the line.

Eazy..

I think it will be, and its easier to nab the crew when you want them than the gun.

Good to see you cracked like a thin shelled egg mate. :D
You're demonstrating all the willpower of a Rob with an empty credit card.

Looks good James, and as you say, figures look pretty cool with it.

Simon

:) cheers Simon. Yeah once I realised it was going to sell out I was in their like a pigeon on a bag of chips. Zero willpower just like one or two others of us but it arrived just in time on Christmas Eve!

By the way- it's in a tremendous box. K&C really have their boxes nailed.
Ok so I know I shouldn't just like a box but what the heck! :)

If you two are referring to me, let me tell you it must have been almost 8.00am when I handed my CC over to Mike Neville at the show...8.00 am guys!...thats a full half hour on my personal best;).

That's because it took a full 30 minutes to get all of your goods together ready for payment.

And they have your CC number already punched in to the transaction thingy, on speed dial 1. ;)

Still got a way to go before you get to UK_BOD, dried twig status. Sad case that Andy....... ;)

Glad Santa brought it in the Nic of time

Dagnabit!.. he's right again!:D;)

Rob

He certainly is- though we all know Simon's own willpower is a thing of extreme fragility. :)

Looks nice Eazy. I like the figures you've used from the different AFV's, looks great together. You might not even have to get the gun crew now!:)

I think its good when sets are cross mixed like this its like having a brand new set
Mitch

The figures you have go really well with it James, the Hummel commander is a very nice figure. The original crew are good too, good action poses.
