So guys, whats on your list over the next couple of months?. I've been keeping my powder dry so to speak and havn't got anything this month, but this will end with the next Dispatch. I will either be buying anything retiring that I need or continuing with the RAF range. Its been a late start to my purchasing year but am raring to go now, and this year looks to be another blinder:cool:

So whats got you hitting the order button?

Rob

Well Rob- nothing at the mo but I am looking at the following sometime in 2011

AWI- mounted cornwallis, british officer marching, British flag carrier

DDay- Ernie Pyle set- would go good with Yanks 03

SP??- Not sure the number- the French wall piece

AE27- Slavebuyer

beyond that- may jump at some of the desert village.

Rob,

The Rolls Royce Armoured Car will be my first purchase of the year.

Depends on what is in February's dispatches. However, I do plan on picking up the 1917 German artillery piece and the mounted firing Lighthorseman sometime in the near future. Other than that we will just have to see how it goes. Every day I have to fight the temptation to start buying Napoleonics and every day it is getting harder

2-3 months after you decide to take the Nap plunge, he will release the WW1 Doughboys and then you are officially screwed. People always make the mistake that they have time to jump into another range then they realize they need more and then WHAMM!! They have to make concessions, sell stuff, etc. Best to stay dedicated to 1 major line and build it up. Just my opinion- it's what I would do now if I had to start all over. :) Pricing also has really become a limiting factor- used to be able to do a couple lines, not as easy dollarwise anymore

I think my next purchases will be some scenic pieces - the Normandy church and the new Boulangerie. Quite a hefty price tag on the latter, but it looks great. Do any of you have these pieces and can you post any pictures or share your views? Many thanks.

I'm not going to start buying them. I agree it's good to stay dedicated to one line. I was never interested in them before, but am now starting to really appreciate how nicely they're done, if I had more interest in the Napoleonic Wars themselves then it would probably be a different story.

Gotta be that EA43 M3 Grant Tank. Gotta love the desert armour and an American model to boot.

Dear Rob:

I have on order now K&C sets AK050 of a Mark III tank and K&C set EA029 of a British 8th Army Crusader Tank which will be displayed (by next month?) on a display wallshelve just below my "NORTH AFRICA - OCT. 1942" diorama of which I posted photos of @ the Forum last week. After that I intend at least to wait until K&C comes out with some more "action" sets for D-Day relative to US Army.

"Iron Brigade"

Well, I am counting on a snowball effect, That the M-3 Grant will look so great that, It will make me buy the Crusader( Ea-029), and The Universal Carrier (EA0-041) (hopefully Andy will release more 8th Army sets). with a touch of Crusaders (MK).
