I need some cheering up after all this doom and gloom, and i thought the perfect stimulas would be the release of the much anticipated jagdtiger by kc. Can anybody appreciate where i am coming from?

really looking forward to K&C rendition of this AFV all the anticipation of how it will look what regiment, carius or not, its agony but, in a really nice way.

I do feel it will be an SL just to give it an extra little something special

A neat piece that I look forward to seeing and maybe owning, if the price is right. Would like to see it in ambush camo. -- Al

I am just thinking this release will shift peoples thoughts to the beautiful things in the hobby. Of course andy could add a puma, wirblewind and a brumbar too but i will be grateful for the jagdtiger

Well it maybe not K&C but I'm looking forward to CS King tigers :D

Brumbar and wirbelwind would be very popular items

Way back machine moment - I used to build Tamiya tank kits when I was a kid. Tigers and Panthers, etc. First became aware of the JT through these kits. Was first attracted by the outstanding artwork on the JT box, great action painting of this huge beast. Anyone else? -- Al

I do agree that Tamiya's pictures on their box lids are really good, I too as a kid made 88's,Kubel's and figures etc.

Hi Rob. I have seen that box cover, but the one I remember was a combat painting. It is possible I am remembering incorrectly as it has been 40+ years. It was a picture of the beast with infantry. Whatever the picture was, it was the first time I had seen or was aware of the JT. It was a great model, as were all those Tamiya kits.:D -- Al

nice picture mitch, but the one that attracted me was when i went to hobby chest in skokie illinois in the 70's and saw the 1/48th bandai kit of the jagdtiger, it was awesome and i have been hooked since. my problem is that i could paint great but i was terrible with glue.
