1/32 0R 1/35 WW1 British infantry kits? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know where I might buy some British WW1 infantry kits in the above scales?. Would like to have a go at building and painting some but don't know where to start, any advice would be most appreciated.

Don’t know about the figures but paint wise just make sure you have an ample supply of green in case of shortages in the future.

Regarding brushes get the best quality you can afford they will last for ages if looked after properly.

Whatever you end up with I’m looking forward to seeing the results.

I believe JMD Miniatures has a lot of WWI figures.So does Fusilier.Try www.coloradominiatures.com Be careful and check the scales as they do different scales.

Are you thinking of gloss or matt Rob?

Steadfast, here in Notts, do have a few of the old Britains WW1 castings (1/32) for a few quid each. They suit gloss painting, but are detailed enough to be able to do them in matt as well if you preferred.

Hobbycraft do a range of packs of 3 or 4 brushes, in a variety of different sizes and materials which are pretty good value for money.

Paint wise, I use Humbrol enamals for gloss, at Jeff's suggestion, although one particular colour eludes me , and use a mixture of Vallejo and Games Workshop paints for matt.

Tradition of London make a couple of WW1 ranges, one in the Toy Soldier series and one in the Model range..

JMD kits are very nice, but they are actually larger than 1/32. There is a lot of scale creep that varies from company to company, but if it's a stand alone figure, it's moot.
