Here come Dispatches! (1 Viewer)

I don't know if there is an iconic pose summing up Arnhem but, thats got to come close if there is.
Mitch

How about a bare headed/blooded Cain holding Piat in one hand and pointing and yelling with the other:salute::

I think we will definately be seeing more Volkstrum and more Egyptians. As for the other releases, Alamo, Real West, or possibly Market Garden.

Does anybody think there is a chance for more "Sons of the Empire" figures to be in the pipeline?
Konrad

Actually i could see an opel maultier without the aa gun on it, one could be normandy, another for the bulge or one to go with the jagdtiger. Whether it's this month or later the vehicle is ready to go. Also maybe we will see some napoleonic mounted french horse grenediers,

i think there will some new FOB models .

In the spirit of FOB, how about a new Mk.I, Mk.II, and Mk.III, all in Battle of France gray? A Mk.III with the early 37mm gun and new casts of the other two would be welcome. -- Al

And as for personality figures I think Robert Cain would be a superb figure, he was in the thick of the action for days, knocking out several German AFV's single handed and at close quaters, rallying his men and all this while wounded and mostly deaf. Absolute Hero (and future father in law of Mr Clarkson of Top Gear fame)

Rob

Top Gear is my favorite show, now that I get BBC America.

Its also been some years since the last German uniformed footsloggers were in action, maybe some of the standard infantry in early War unifoms and in action poses would be very welcome amongst FOB collectors.

But whatever comes will be most welcome I'm sure, K&C do have the knack of releasing good stuff month after month don't they, the Jagdtiger and Berlin defence troops are a great example from last month.

more Ancient Egyptians seems a given. Others have suggested a Nile barge...that would be fantastic.

Aren't we do for another Warbird? Given the sheer number Andy announced as in the pipeline it feels like we should be able to go more than a month without one.

also...I've been away from the forum for a while. what's this about a new Italian tank. Any further info/pictures/links?

Thanks, Rob.

I would not be surprised if we finally saw some fighting Italians to go with these. Maybe some fighting Aussie's too. Although they are limited releases and we've had quite a bit of AK/EA stuff this far.

You're welcome. I would say we will surely see some Aussie's soon, not sure about Italians as I don't know how popular they are?.

Rob

Maybe you EA/AK guys need some desert Italian aircraft for the SAS and LRDG to "brass up"?

I'll also be looking out for what may be retired this coming month, I thought maybe there would be lots going in the first two months of this year but have been pleasantly surprised so far, makes it a lot easier when the retirements are not overwhelming^&cool
