Tom,

I've never heard of RSM before but there's more than a passing resemblance to the Tradition of London set.

Can never have too many elephants though. :wink2:

Hi Jeff,
yup, RSM, 12 made, came in its own box which is very reminiscent of early Kingcast and Mark Time and/or early Steadfast. Really quite cool and you can tell its all lead!!!! Heavy duty. I also have the Tradition set as well as the Kingcast version and they are close in nature. What really sets this off is the cannon part. Really different than the other 2.

I would also consider the paint a dull gloss.

I would love to know what RSM stands for (assume something, something minatures). The seller indicated he bought it in the 1970s at a collectible auction in Britain and the opening bid was 325 pounds. He didn't tell me what he paid!!!

It must be another of the older British cottage makers I guess.

One would think "RSM" would stand for "Regimental Sergeant Major", as this is the abbreviation in common usage in the British Army.:wink2:

The set is quite nice.:smile2:
