Re: March London show pics

Hi Trooper,

Thanks for taking pics of my Yeomanry Miniatures stand at the show. I know Rob took many pics too but I can't access them as my computer tells me that the badwidth has been exceeded. Will post my own pics of the staff car as soon as the bugs have been ironed out and a painted example is available.

Regards

Yeoman.

Re: March London show pics

Sorry for the delays in posting my normal images and report but finally here we are. The previous posters have covered just about everything, so I apologise if I repeat a few (I won't post K&C, Britains, Figarti and others as they have already been covered).

Re: March London show pics

BOD,

thanks for showing the Egyptian Camapaign figures from Nik, I was really wnating to see his new range, and I am very impressed with those, especailly the camels.

We need more images of these samller makers who only exhibit at the show, as they tend to get overlooked when the big makers seem to get all the exposure.

Tommy Atkins

I do like these figures, especially the WWI sets. The load/unload with the railtrack was very tempting however I made it my duty as a Brit Treefrogger to stop Wraith buying more FL Crusaders and so I had to leave it. The attempt to stop Wraith buying more figures failed.......badly.

Re: March London show pics

White Tower,

Last Christmas I was so tempted to buy a couple of these figures and so this show I finally did (my first Glossies). They won't be alone.

Re: March London show pics

The show itself seemed down in terms of numbers over previous March shows, but did give the opportunity to have a good chat with a number of sellers and with the odd treefrogger who turned up. Its amazing to have the time and the opportunity to browse the tables holding figures not usually seen on this forum. In my case it is the number of small British companies (usually one man bands)which display here. I have just bought one cavalry and 3 dismounted figures from White Tower but can certainly see myself adding a few more. ATS/Tommy Atkins and Little Legion are other companies which I am also impressed with and wouldn't be surprised if I add these to my collecting habits in the future.

A big thank you to all the other posters who have posted images on the forum. I hope to meet you all over the next few shows. It was good to see Trooper and Wraith at the bar with the barmaid ;), Simon you're welcome to him.

What did I buy

1 FL Crusader (I bought 4 more earlier in the month).
The 3 camel mounted Nile figures from Britains.
A few more Britains Zulu sets which I was missing.
A couple of dismounted Heritage Camel Corps figures.
The White Tower figures I have already alluded to.

And that was it, fairly cheap for me this time as I'm saving for the Britains Waterloo Cavalry figures and 2 Zulu War Artillery pieces in the next couple of months. I also would like to get a number of Heritage Sudanese infantry and the wounded Camel Corp figure (should have bought this figure at the show).

It wasn't obscene, what did it hurt.

What hurts is that I didn't download her photo...^&grin
Now seriously, I fully agree with you, it surely wouldn't shock my 9 year old son (who is growing up pretty fast, he is talking girlfriends now...^&grin).

Paulo

PS
I notice the day shift photo is still up, to be honest that was the best looking girl...
