I recently purchased this and received it and the long part that would connect to the horse (if there was one) (forget what it's called, sorry) is bent. When I look at the MKL catalog, it shows it as slightly bent, whereas other photos I've seen indicates that it's straight. Can anyone who has one tell me what it's supposed to look like. Thanks.

What is this set? Sounds interesting...

I would imagine it should straight Brad and I think the pole is called a limber pole.

Hi Brad

I’m sure your wagon is absolutely correct, but can you post a picture of it to be on the safe side

Here is the picture of the set from the MKL catalogue

Here are two wagons taken from my AZW sets, both have the "drooping/bent" wagon tongue

Martyn,

Thanks. I will try to post a photo tonight. It was actually bent far worse than that, probably due to not putting enough protection around the limber in shipping. I've bent in back some and will show your photos to my friend when I give it to him this weekend for repair. The figures and the secret weapon also need a little repair as well.

Cheers,

Hi Brad: My wagon tongue is bent also to allow the wagon to remain level and catch the horses across their chests at a proper level with a cross bar. Also, my wagon is tan/brown. It is a great set. Congratulations.

Tommy,

Thanks for your comments. Yes, it's a great set and can't wait until I get it back, nice and repaired.

Regards,

Tommy,

Belated thanks for posting the photo. The three soldiers look like the ones I have. I just gave it to my friend, to touch up. I hope to have it back, looking new and refreshed, by next Friday, and will post some photos at that time.
