Anyone going to the London show in June?? I wish I were, maybe one of these days, but if someone could snap me some pics of Davids work of T.M. Terrain, and any First Legion I would appreciate it, now how bout some more barmaid pics?:):)...Sammy
 
I'll be there Sammy and happy to take requests. I may have to take slightly less this time as last time I exceeded my photobucket limit and all my pics were removed after I posted which was very annoying. So if anyone has any requests I'm happy to help.

I shall be there, God willing and the creek not rising, will do my best to show some of the less publicised makers. However barmaid photos are verboten by the censors. Remember the furore after the last show. Instead of a barmaid in her underware pulling a pint you will have to make do with Rob in his cha cha outfit complete with sequinned US helmet drinking a G & T. Trooper

As I told you I thought you looked rather fetching in that US tin lid of mine-but have to agree it is a bit weighty on one's head even without sequins.

Bought my rail tickets just yesterday so will join you all in the bar at 1230hrs. Apparently, according to Alan, I will have to serve some jankers time as I failed to muster in March, (I was campaigning in the Canaries) therefore first round will be on me.

Having missed the last two shows for varying reasons I am sure I will be there this time! I will have my camera as per usual and will be taking photos of the less well-known
and one-man band type of TS product.

Looking forward to it.

Thanks fellows, already looking forward to the show and some pics, ...I'll pass on Rob and the cha-cha:):) as Seinfield said "not that there is anything wrong with that":)...Sammy
 
Hmm...I think if you read the forum rules, images of "Rob in a cha cha outfit" are specifically banned...for fear of lawsuits from the families of those who attempt to gouge out their eyes...
 
I'll be there since Bob's agreed to buy the first round. This is an historic event, not before seen in the TS community. I'll provide full feedback on how the proceedings go, but envisage a 20 minute 'Opening of the Wallet' ceremony, followed by an enforced 'Parting of the Notes' ritual, which will involve many tears and much blood and sweat. Will be looking for something more substantial than Ribena this time though. :)

I'll have a camera and will do my utmost to locate a suitable bar hand to photograph.
Only 1 out of 2 got deleted last time, so if my second photo is of a sequinned Rob, we should be pretty safe in keeping this one posted.
 
David from T.M. Terrain is doing another dio for me to be on display at this show, not as big as the last one but I think it will be really sharp, going to be more open this time for my First Legion tanks/vehicles and such, so hope one of you all can snap a pic or 2 of it, can't wait to see the finished product:)...Sammy

Does anyone here have any dealings with Maisin Militaire?. I wrote to them some time back to ask if they'd be in London with Conte's ACW sets, but have had no reply.
