The earlier versions of the Tigers V, IV, Panthers.......... are undersized. Could this have been from mold shrinkage while firing the items? From what I understand of ceramics, you have to build the original cast a certain percentage oversized in order to get the correct size after being in the kiln. That is if this is the same way these items are made.

Just a simple lack to enforce adherence to scale back then. Now 1/30 scale as far as their WWII range is concerned is the standard. :wink2:
 
all early stuff was 1/32nd or near its only recently that scale has changed and I still think figure wise they are not at 1/30th. There have been many scale discussions covering all the manufacturers and some good comparison pictures placed with a variety of manufacturers products.
