Can't wait to see what September's dispatches hold! It is arnhem time lads!^&grin

The Mp released this month is stunning and would go brilliant standing beside a jeep with Horrocks in it!^&grin

Would expect to see the morris cwt truck in d-day colours and maybe some truck riders!:wink2:

I would love to see british tank riders and engineers to mix in with an XXX Corps dio, plus I think an accessories pack with some boxes, spades half dug in earth, pontoon bridge boats and metal bailer bridge parts would be brilliant!^&grin

I would also like to see lt vandeleurs command vehicle!^&grin

Any other thoughts?^&grin

It certainly would be nice to see Arnhem releases in Sept but, the range originally was released in Nov 2007 so, not even close to the battle. I hope I am wrong as it would be nice for the Arnhem collectors to see some additions to the brit troops as much is missing from the range to date. Much has been mentioned but, for me where is Frost and some other personality depictions which, makes this battle so evocative like Cain and many many more.

I know a lot of people who have shifted their MG collections due to the lack of follow ups. I know there are schedules that need to be released but, I would have thought this was a core range and must be a popular one at that. I hope I am wrong but, not holding my breath for Sept

I think you make a good point Mitch I for one have lost interest in the range for lack of new item :(

Just a guess, but I think your going to see a big push on the RAF and WWI items. Also would not be surprised if a great deal of desert items from all periods came out. I would like to see a new lee tank, something else besides DDay but I suspect from the tone of recent dispatches there is going to be nore releases in the Napoleonics and landing troops. I am not a big collector of the arnheim items, but I understand where you guys are coming from. I love the jeep from that series. One thing is for sure the nw price increases will be in place.

Frost, yes its been a Frosty reception on this line to date, mine have not seen daylight for over a year, well overdue, the bridgehead needs reinforcements now or risk being abandoned. Cheers, Robin.

I'm with you Arnhem44mad, can't wait either and I believe you are in good company here despite some negative nelly posts here! "Frosty reception, shifting collections, losing interest, no releases.......gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen pleasssssssssssse, I think you are all Capitolron immitators! ^&grin I cannot stand idly by and see the best line (and ofcourse my favourite{sm4} ) K&C produces be disparaged in any way! If K&C never released another piece from this line it would still always be awesome. All those British paratroopers look great and this series I am almost a completist in. I eagerly await more releases that I am sure are to come whether they be vehicles, troops or personality figures. MARKET GARDEN RULES!!!! {sm3}

I also am holding out hope for Horrocks! He has always been a hero for me. And agree about Frost as well. It is an awesome series!:smile2:

I look forward to the show. Whatever it may hold there is amazing stuff! For the record, TG is making some para's. One thing that is great about a toy soldier show is all the different manufacturers showing their stuff. K&C Figarti, TG, Britains, and all the others. I hope we have an excellent show this year.

You know Andy could finish off the Iraq set with Osama Bin Laden and the seals, and the burial, and the unfortunate chopper incident. It is unforunatly the ten year anniversary. They still have done nothing on that property. There is something wrong with tallest buildings going to the middle east, and the WTC gone.

SHOW?^&confuse:tongue:

I can feel for you Arnhem guys, but you should try being a AWI guy. {sm2}
Nothing really "NEW" or "Different" in years with only re-releases of previous figures. Hoping that Andy sees the "error or his ways" and surprises everyone with more Militia (and Militia Cavalry) and Minutemen from the different states, different Continental Regiments. How about Irish Regiments for his Majesty's forces or Loyalist Rangers, different French forces (especially French Cavalry) or even exotic figures like the Spanish army. (Yea there were some. ^&confuse )

But alas I am afraid that my Release stocking will not be filled by Santa "Andy" Claus.

You did read the latest dispatch from KING & COUNTRY sent to Collector Club Members stating that the Arnhem Series will not have another release until 2012
- didn't you?

My understanding is a large number of retirements will be posted in Sept only.

Happy Collecting ^&grin

Ron my arch nemisis!^&grin Where have you been I've missed your sarcastic manner!^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin

Neglecting the nagativity surrounding arnhem releases and Ron's old jibber jabber!:wink2: Lets look forward to the possibility of there being releases next month!^&grin

I think somewhere in the year Andy did say that September would be Arnhem/british d-day releases so I don't think we need to worry about that, and when mg was released it was a busy time for K&C and although they were released in November we found out about the new arnhem releases in september!!!:)

I'm really excited for new releases and I'm hoping that Andy will release some new arnhem next month as arnhem are really only released once a year, however even if there is no arnhem and some british d-day figs/vehicles are released I would be very happy!^&grin

Guys I could have possibly misunderstood but I could have sworn that I read in a post from Andy that Arnhem is on hiatus until he figures out where he wants to take it next and that there are no releases in the pipeline. Once again I could be wrong, for you Arnhem collectors out there I hope I am wrong, I know how frustrating it is to have to wait on your favorite series to be released, but thats just part of the toy soldier game. Is there anyone else out there that remembers that post???^&confuse

Well then, if no MG we will just have to settle for some german releases and some US releases for the forthcoming winter war its Bulge time and looking forward to what will be released for that range.
Mitch

You're joking...right?^&confuseLmao I'll have some of what you're having mate cause it seems pretty strong!{sm4}Only kidding mate!I've not been as active on the forum so he might have said it at one point!^&grin

I think if Andy had any trouble coming up with ideas he would ask collectors as i remember him stating several times that Market Garden is one of his biggets sellers!^&grin

^&grin^&grin If he needs help I've got a small list of probable ideas for him:wink2::

1. - American paras - 101st, 82nd, paratrooper tank riders, british infantry and american paras sharing a ciggy

2. - British paratroopers - Medic, wounded/dead, ambulance jeep, paras before the jump, paras with german prisoners, polish paras in boats, stretcher team

3. - XXX Corps - Vandeluers vehicle, guards division infantry, cwt morris truck, Horrocks in jeep, universal halftrack, truck which passengers can sit in, tank riders, engineers for bridge^&grin
