The new Ludhiana Sikhs have only been released in matte, not gloss. I guess the others haven't done well or not well enough to merit a gloss issuance.

Up in London today so a bit late to the show, but very much like the new Bulge figure releases and the Stug is starting to grow on me too. The new jeep is a definite purchase, can't seem to have enough Jeeps myself! No retirement problems either, just the one MG set I'm adding to my London show pick up. I've just hit the button on the new RAF Truck and hopefully this will arrive tomorrow. Another fine set of releases from K&C^&cool

These dispatches are 'Bulge-tastic' ! Really exciting releases and great extensions to a lot of lines...'taking prisoners', a new 'Chain Dog', and looters of Allied gear. Not to mention Pieper and that 234.
Gonna make for a great Autumn.

Started to get worried about you mate. Thought maybe you were sleeping in today

Cheers,

That's odd since the new HK201 Policeman has a matte or gloss choice on the K&C website...seems if you can clearcoat one type of figure the others would be just as easy.

Wow...I just hit the Tree Frog shop site to prepare for pre-orders on some of the Bulge items off the dispatch and was a bit taken aback by the fact that individual KC figures were up to $42 USD each (I'd obviously missed a thread about this previously).

I've only been in the hobby some 4-5 years or so, but we've gone from a set of 4 KC WWII figs selling for $89 USD to a single fig selling @ $32 USD jumping to $42 USD in fairly short order.

It's certainly not intended as a slap at KC-more a more harsh truth that we had it 'very good' for quite a while and that items coming out of China (combined with a lousy dollar) have climbed in cost.
Don't mean to be a 'buzz-kill', just the reality of the limitations that are being placed on my hobby budget have hit me.

No doubt the prices are up :redface2:, but the "likeability" of these german Bulge new figures are up as well :). What can I do? Open the wallet and go ahead ^&grin Rationaly I was expecting no surprises on this one, but deep down inside I had this fantasy of a "secret" for dispatches...maybe November now...:rolleyes2:

Just wait until we see $52.00 a figure next year. :redface2: The Greeks are already $49 so why not?

I guess I was so "heads down" still catching up on some of the older releases, that I let that 'little detail' surprise me. Like I said, not intended as any bash on KC-just got a sudden dose of reality today.
