US soldier lies dead beside a water pump, killed by a booby trap set in the pump in a French village on the Cherbourg peninsula.

My own choice would be the GI's at the table having a tipple. That poor Para looks like he is going to be sore!!! What a landing!!
Good pics

I have this set well, part of it, a friend came round with his new puppy a while back and some sets were on the window sill (one of those large ones you can sit at) while we were chatting the dog grabbed the flag figure and, by the time we got it back it was in a right state. Totally unrepairable with teeth marks all over and the flag was split..... A nightmare!!!!

Irony was that it was a german shepherd and, that was the only german set on the window at the time!! Never replaced it as its going for silly money

Big yes Mitch it would. Its funny as soon as I saw the pics the first one that came to mind was
the 3 G i's enjoying a bottle, and it would look cool with DD73.:salute::

Mitch, sounds like that hund is on the banned list!
I like the 3 GI's too.

Ouch! Mitch, I admire your restraint. I'm way past the age where I have any patience for misbehaved animals (or children, for that matter:wink2:). I might have lost my temper a wee bit.:rolleyes2: -- Al

God bless puppies and sorry to hear of your damage. One will pop up sooner or later i hope.MIke B.{sm3}Guy great photo's.

It would make a great add on set to DD73
Mitch

That's what I thought of as well. That is one of my favorite sets from K & C. I remember when it first came out, some people were complaining about it -- "what does it go with," "these aren't paratrooper in action" and so forth -- but it's a great little dio piece in and of itself.
