Is that all you guys have got...??????

Come on - give me some NAPOLEONIC TALK :D

I had my Viking blood up but I guess that dosent count.
Vikings loved to raid the Irish so who knows, I could be Irish? Any excuse to drink heavily today?
No Napoleon talk for me , wife wants the Family room totally redone, so my Paintings{ Napoleonic}Gun case full of weapons and my glass case full of figures are all being exiled to the Garage for a while until the place is done.Of course the garage full of figures needs reshuffled before I bring in more stuf. Returning to the family room from exhile looks doubtful.
Quick guessiment, far more Napoleonics out there than anything else at least in 54mm.
Time for beer and more work.

The chap with the flag and just taken a musket ball is superb.I can see him and his cohorts hurling themselves at my square.May have to get lots of these boys to bring out the best in my forthcoming guards.

HEHEHEHEHE :D

I thought for sure we would have a british reaction to that statement - I guess the fearful sight of our FRENCH HEAVY CALVARY coming at them is too much for the lads - what do you think KV?

Fearful of French cavalry?.Come on Ron the British army were full of Drunk, sexual desease ridden murderers. They weren't going to be afraid of a few plume wearing nancys on horse back who rode up to them and promptly were either shot themselves or had their horses shot from under them. You seem to be labouring under the deluded idea that the charges worked mate.THEY FAILED AND THE SQUARES LARGELY REMAINED INTACT!

Repeat after me Ron..those nasty British...those nasty British..they didn't really Win!!!.

There endeth the British response.(writer ducks down behind hill and awaits
furious response!)

Its all very interesting how the French failed to employ what amounts to simple common sense tactics. If the British Form square upon the approach of Cavalry, you set up horse artillery just out of musket range and blow the square to pieces with grape shot/cannister. If they leave square to attack the horse artillery, the cavalry charges. The French just didn't seem to want to employ this tactic, and kept sending the cavalry in to get torn to shreads on the squares.
