What do you base this on? I heard, not from yourself, this statement from some about every single aircraft released and, every 250 range or similar they are still available. K&C's will be the same just different paint versions probably BOB desert and another. JJD has mentioned three variants SCW, BOB and a desert version. Figarti mentioned BOB and a tank buster plus another variant as a possibility. K&C may do limited ranges on theirs figarti seems to stick at 100 and JJD leaves the runs open. Thats a lot of stuka's from manufacturers when, the demand has never been high and constant on this forum Only Wayne has asked for one over any substantial length of time.

I just don't see where the demand will come from that makes it a certain seller its not even all that nice a looking aircraft?? We have to vector in cost and size its a big aircraft for collectors to have multiples. Personally, I don't think it will be as popular as too many are going to possibly be made by several manufacturers. Mind, we don't even know if K&C will do one but, its odd's on JJD and Figarti's will hit the market first and, from what we have been told about where the price will sit its similar to the Me110 and lightning and, they are nicer looking aircraft and have not sold out.

I know polls mean little but, its not a runaway cert so far.

Good points{bravo}}

KC ME109 is already retired Germans Fighter plane"s sell better its just a Fact Jack & the STUKA
will sell just as well BETTER!!!!!{sm4}

Retired does not mean sold out witch the me 109 is not and going by the poll the stuka not popular jack:wink2::p

Notascoldasbastogne...

Which ME109 is a sell out mate?? The marseille SL version is still available in K&CUK. The ME 262 and the FW 190 are also still available as are all allied aircraft. The only version I know of thats not readily available is the SL Komet.

You are a fast one UK. The ME109 Retired as soon as they are realeasd, it justifes a 500 round run.
Now when Figarti come out with a 100 run of say 3 themes of a STUKA they will sell out just like KC
when they did the WW1 birds. Look at what they go for in the 2nd market. Now both spitfire's nice
IMO are still sitting around.

KC one it is listed RETIRED

if I promise to buy a stuka will you guys stop posting about it?

I wonder if the interest in planes is waning. Only 24 people voted and half said no. For manufacturers that can't be very encouraging.

I doubt this poll is a reflection of the interest.

However I do agree with Mitch that the market can not be big enough for three brands and 8 or 9 versions. If each release was done as 150-200 then perhaps that might work but the manufacturers are going to have to think carefully about numbers. If collectors are going to be spoilt for choice then some may hold off buying the first ones to market to see what the later versions are or there could be insufficient interest left for the later ones.

Just a minor point. K&C FW190's may still be available in the UK but appear to be sold out in the USA (well at least at TF, HB and Sierra). This would explain why I sold my 2nd last one to an Ebayer in NY a few days ago. I doubt he would pay the postage if he could have got it in USA. This may be a reflection more on how many K&C UK got in and does not necessarily indicate slow sales. With certain items, as a dealer, I do not have a problem sitting on some stock even for over a year. This is particularly the case with something like an aircraft where there are multiple figures that a collector might also get to go with it.

Brett...

It must be christmas when we agree!!!LOL. I was not saying though this shows waning sales just that, specifically, with aircraft as they are more difficult to display compared with figures and AFV's that they are still available. I look forward to most releases and do with the stuka its just like the waiting for a bus metaphor... wait ages and they all come together!!

If we are honest there has only been Wayne asking for the stuka for as long as I can remember and, looking at the forum more people have asked for a P 51 or tommahawk than a stuka. JJD normally does not limit Figarti do and K&C should they be last to the party will have the advantage of seeing how the others are selling and can do a production run accordingly. However, from what PA44 has said it seems its not a high priority for K&C

We shall see what comes in 2012

Mitch,
Can't you see the "blue moon" where you are ??{sm4} Have a look later.

Size and display space definitely a factor with planes.

If the manufacturers are counting posts they may not have realised 90% of the Stuka posts are made by two people and one of them has indicated he won't be buying one {sm4}

I will be barking at the moon if the last few weeks are anything to go by!!! I am certainly interested in the stuka's representing the SCW and tank buster variant. Don't know what other variants will be forthcoming??

Why don't we all sit back and see what happens. We are all making predictions about things with limited information.
