Hi guys, wasn't sure if I should post this here or in diorama sections, but here goes anyway.

I'm gradually building a collection of Vallejo paints that I really enjoy using, am looking for a Vallejo colour to paint sandbags. I've looked at their chart and there is two or three that may work, but was just wondering if any of you guys have done this and which colour you were happy with? Any info much appreciated.

Cheers

Rob...

No right or wrong answer as there are many colours to a sand bag and, different eras had different colours and, even different armies used different ones . I use tans, stones and, sand colours iraqi sand is a good colour. base coats of tans buffs etc will work and, then add tones to gives effect. One colour would look unatural. I will PM you the exact colours I use. I also use some of the mig pigments to tone them so, as you see there is plenty of choice.
