Just to flag up that these excellent figures are retiring this month, they've been around a long time now and are two superb sets. Any of you who like NA and haven't got them yet, you won't regret picking these up{bravo}}^&cool

Totally agree Rob, i was almost going to buy a second lot of each set but the Aussie's came out so i am content with one set each now. Hopefully Andy will bring some more 8th Army Brit's out to replace them in the not to distant future.

Great minds think alike Tom:wink2: I also wanted two more but other things taken priority, yep hopefully more 8th Army in the future^&cool

I almost bought these sets several different times over the years, but just never did. I'll probably regret it if I don't pick them up as they are very nice looking 8th Army sets.

The 8th Army sets made a few years back, of which the above two were a part, are some of the best sets K & C ever made, bar none.

I urge anyone who is a Desert collector to not miss out on these.

Amazing when you think how long it is since they were released that they have just gone now.

I would buy those sets weather I collect 8th army or not that is some of K&C best work.

Fully agree with all these comments, they are some of the very best K&C have produced, it also does indeed say something of their popularity that they've been around so long. (they must be among the longest serving sets right now)

Rob

Yes they are great sets, like most 8th Army firgures they come up a treat converted to Aussies :D Will now have to have get EA015 to join 6th Div A.I.F :wink2:
Wayne.

They had been for so long means the series is slow-moving ? or not "popular"

This set EA009 has great figures in classic action pose, especially the advancing officer.....almost iconic.

Probably means that they were still selling after all these years . They are among the best K&C have produced and have always appeared popular.

These are the 1st two K&C sets i ever got, I was only going to buy them as a little tribute to my Grandad , but they were so nice it didn't take long for my collection to grow & grow!

In the contrary, I believe they are very popular, you really can not have an 8th Army collection without these.

The upside to retirements is that you wonder what's coming around the corner to replace them. Fingers crossed!
