Thank you for posting more pictures, I just love this range...

Very nice looking figures. As this was a Cuban war of independence, the conflict is technically called the Spanish Cuban American War.

Here are some relics that would go great with the San Juan Hill diorama. Photo of a Rough Rider and his postcard to his sweetheart, shoulder straps, Sp/Am War medal, plus hat and lapel emblems. Plus glass photos of the embarkation to Cuba. Nice job on the diorama.

Martyn,

I too felt bad regarding the crummy weather you had for the Diamond Jubilee, but is was great entertainment anyway. When my wife and I first visited Great Britain in 1991, we had two marvelous weeks of sunny weather. I guess we were very lucky. As I am writing this, wearing my UCLA polo shirt and khaki hiking shorts, the temperature is heading towards 80 degrees and we probably won't get a drop of rain for the next six months.

Those KC Rough Riders and Spanish troops look great.Isn't one of them suppose to be a German officer?

A couple of years ago, I bought these two sets of Spanish-American War Infantry on eBay. I have no idea who made them.

Thanks Mike, glad you enjoyed what you saw:salute::

I think we had our Summer last week, all 6 days of it. We are now battening down the hatches for the Monsoon Season which starts just when the Olympic Games begin {eek3}^&grin

They were made by Americans in Miniature. They were not in their original boxes when I bought them, but the box had a hand printed label indicating that's who made them and AIM were sold in sets of five figures.
