I purchased my first soldiers in mid December last year with the plan that it would be a small interest.
I have just bought a new cabinet so have placed the bulk of my collection of TS on my mantlepiece in readiness.
'
Note on the far right - some K&C Crimean figures which I was not going to buy - too expensive and the range was finishing.
At the centre back is the ALH which I was not going to buy because it was more cavalry and it was obviously an expanding range.
WW1 Germans front left were not on the list as some were already retiring and I did not want to play catch up again.
In the centre middle are the start of the Britains Zulus which I actually discouraged a fellow treefrogger from starting because in my words, 'where will it end'?
The Thomas Gunn Imperial Guard was also to be avoided because I did not want to mix collections, but there it is. It is soon to be joined by the 95th, while my two rocket crews are in another room with my 1914 French, the RHA, my WW1 tank and my NE diorama pieces.
It is like a drug!
