What are you getting from the july dispatch?? (5 Viewers)

Kinda' glad that there is nothing on this month that I "HAVE" to get, since I am soooooooo far behind on other series, BUT .... Alexander is the type of "one-offs" that I fancy so ... good possibility. -- Larry

I was just wondering if the blue and yellow bowser
was not the proper color for WW2 erea , is it the same
for the tractor the fact that it is blue and yellow ??
What was the real color for the bowser ??

MapleLeaf...

Found plenty of stuff on the use of mickey mouse colours for mid war then all green later in the war. Many were painted the RAF blue and, remained like that well after the BOB in certain stations. From what I have read the blue and yellow was after the war as with the bowser. Thats only from the books I have and have not looked up any sites on the internet.

Looks good, I wonder if we will see something released that the tractor is towing....bombs, gas trailer, wagon etc etc.

Well if next year we get an RAF wave of releases such as we've just had I would not be surprised!{bravo}}

How about the guy pulling the starter CFM, will you go for that one do you think?

I'll be ordering ALL of the new Crusaders! They'll all tie in perfectrly with my still-developing Crusades diorama. This is a good month for me.

Good to hear it. I myself have only a few figures, but I am getting the Alexander which I know is not in the MK series and I think the Mounted Hospitaller is going make me a convert!!

Hope to see some pictures of your lads!!

After a little research i saw a picture of the tractor pulling
a fuel tank on airfield , black and white photo but the
top of the hood was light color which i suppose was yellow
This one is for real , gotta have it.
As far as the bowser the blue and yellow came after 1946
The sight i look into was WW2 RAF color
Happy collecting my freinds

Good point Neil, I don't know of any other company producing mat figures that make RAFat all, there are glossies out there but of course they don't work, nope K&C have cornered the market with the boys in blue Neil.
