Wayne,
could'nt agree more !! more Kriegsmarine are needed for my Seehund. It's either more men or sell what I have , there is no other choice
guy:)

Wayne..

Great figures and, I thought the Gunther Prein was probably the best they released. Must be a hard range to try and continue though as you expect ships and they will not come cheap. Admirals boat and crew would work but, how much interest?? conning tower of a sub would be good I have the Andrea conning tower in a different scale and, thats still a size.

I thought the recovery vehicle was a nice one and, they could do a blitz truck or similar with seated U- boat crew returning or heading off from a mission

I have not started this line but I really like your great photo. Perfect detail.

Wayne, that sub commander is one of the best Nazi figures K&C have produced, terrific figure and if I had somewhere to fit him in I'd buy him in a flash, he just wouldn't work stood on a Tiger I !

Rob

Watch out Wayne, could be the start of another series for you, but yes it is a great figure. Cheers, Robin.

Some good looking figures in this series for sure. My favourite is definitely the sub commander but as Mitch pointed out its hard to be optomistic about the prospects for growth for this line. I'm afraid it might be a case of "the line going down with the ship to its watery grave." {eek3} :( :(

That is my fear, also. {sm2} Most of the figures are very well done and I like what we have so far.

And they are one of the few ranges that have a "simple grey" base. Which of course makes it very nice to place on a traditional WWII grey hull ship. The Docks are Piers are well suited to the sets.

But .... where can Andy go with this line that wouldn't cost the collector two kidneys? As pointed out, except for the very smallest of "boats" there is, obviously no hope there. Maybe a tiny section of a ship, such as Mitch said .."Andrea conning tower " .... or a deck gun, a ship bridge or maybe a Flak gun sets might be possible (and really nice).

Let hope the is some Trickery Afoot with K&C ... Larry

Yep the future doesn't look bright and i don't think it was a huge seller, never seen any dio,s on here,we will have to wait and see.
Maybe he could work on the bar scene in "DAS BOOT" at the very beginning.............................^&grin

Hi Wayne, did this last year, Cheers, Robin.

Just searched thru a few those nautical shops and found a boat that I thought would be in scale with my figures about 3 years ago. No war boats to be found, but I thought a fishing boat captured and converted by the Germans seemed feasible. Cheers, Robin.

Hi Guys,
You will be interested to know one of the most enthusiastic attempts at persuasion with Andy during the visit was made by forum member Ray. He brought a conning tower that he had made himself and was suggesting Andy produce such an item. Size, cost and potential damage issues (ie. railing) were discussed. Was also raised as a question during the Q&A. I know Howard got a good photo of it so hopefully he will post photo.
Regards
Brett

Robin, this is more than nice ,this is outstanding. Why not put the boat in some clear resin so that one has the impression that it really floats
guy{bravo}}

ROBIN ... WOW {sm3} I LOVE it. I live up here in Midcoast Maine so I gotta' be able to find something like this in the old junk and antique shops. I think the set up is perfect.

Yea' the dog is a great touch.:p

Who makes the Flak gun in the stern of the boat? - That is a great looking piece.

Larry
