Just a general comment regarding Ludwigs "rivett counting" and comments by Vladimir about accuracy of figures etc in relation to the scholar.
Based on my observations and comments here the Scholar could fit in with the following series :
LOJ
AE
MK
SOE
NE
AL
EA
AK
I am guessing the Scholar is going to be used with far more other figures than with LOJ. Same goes for others from the LOJ series. The LOJ camels can also be used with many series and they are very good sellers because of this.
He could just as easily have been put into the NE series and then would be correct. I am finding the civilians from the LOJ series are being used as add ins with other series and that is part of the interest in them.
People should try not to get fixated on minor details because a series has a particular name. For example K&C labels their LAH series Berlin 38 but clearly some are before and after that date. It is your collection to do with as you please.
