The launch started life as a Sail boat and was converted to steam power…….this week:wink2:

Sail boat from Dorset Toy Soldiers along with the Egyptian crew which originally appeared crewing my Nile Paddle Steamer

Cheers

Martyn:)

PS Good to be back posting a few pictures, I love the Song Thread but you can have too much of a good thing sometimes, saying that it did help keep me sane

Just the job as a different display medium Martyn - and doesn't have to cost the Earth. Lovely little piece that - Same for the Trophy thread model (saves a post!) jb

Welcome back!

Martyn, very nice I like it too, very nice and clever conversion.

Hello Martyn,

Thank you for sharing your new converted Dorset sail boat.....small but really nice.

Mr. Giles Brown makes some great castings and painted sets on offer.

I read in Norman Joplin's book he started in the business in 1976 and is still going strong.

My first AZW set in 54mm gloss finish was from Dorset, before I went Trophy.

I'm most glad to see you posting as per normal.

Best Wishes, Raymond :)
