FRENCH AWI - Officer with Sword.

Well, sadly the drummers didn't attract any able bodied young men to join the cause, so now the officers are going thru the village, "ENCOURAGING” village’s men folk to join up. They don’t have a drum but possible an incentive that is “MORE TO THE POINT!”

:redface2: :redface2: Okay, I wasn't going to post this one becuase it was a BAD PHOTO!

Does it appear to you that the three guys in the background are in a dance line???????? { "I'm a little teapot short and stout, tip me over ..}
Ya' me to. BUT I showed it as an example of what not to do and to watch out for background errors.

FRENCH AWI – Rifle at Trail

Here are some pictures of the FRENCH AWI soldiers running over a colonial bridge.

I built this bridge and surrounding landscape only a short time ago and was inspired by work done on the Forum (Thank you Mike M.).

It is constructed according to the building principles as was common in middle to late 18th century America, according to a book I used as a reference … “How Colonial America was Built” (or something similar to that.)

Any questions let me know. -- Larry

Larry,

Thank you so much for posting these!! I just saw this thread today as I was off-line over the weekend. This is a fabulous way to start the week. Your scenes are masterfully done and your collection is to be admired for sure!

I never saw those French figures that K&C did years ago so you accomplished your objective there. I can't wait to see all the other earlier releases that K&C did.

I found your set ups to be quite inspirational with your use of some of the JG scenics. For a long time I have considered buying some of those JG buildings but didn't know how to use them. Thanks to you I now have some creative ideas.

You've done an outstanding job in arranging your scenes and in how you position many of the same figure differently.

Keep it all coming and thanks again!

Mark
