I'm not going to the Chicago Show...

K&C is giving away a Hospitaller Knight Gift figure at their Annual Dinner Party to all the guest that attend...

I do collect all the K&C Knights/Saracens and would like this figure...

if anybody brings one of these figures home...I would like to buy it if you don't collect this series...

Hi Michael,

I also like this Hospitaller guy. Have his Templar counterpart. Just got the three newest Hospitaller releases. Absolutely love the mounted knight on the black stallion with the kite shield. I just did some research and found that the Hospitallers wore black until 1275, when they started to change over to red. King & Country says they are covering the time period of the Crusades from 1196 to 1204. They seem to be a little out of time synch with their red Hospitallers, but I'm fine with this, since I like the red unifroms better than the black. We'll have to give K&C a bit of artistic license in that regard. Good luck acquiring this special Hospitaller. Please let me know if you get offered an extra on, if you wouldn't mind and only want one for yourself.

Happy collecting,

George

George...

he has a great color scheme...I hope someone offers to sell me theirs...

I have become less and less concerned with historical accuracy recently...I even have my Robert of Bruce (Battle of Bannockburn) set mixed in with my Crusaders and Saracens diorama...and I sleep fine...hahaha...

I promise you...if I get a second offer on one...they will be directed to you...not a problem...I know you are a huge collector of this series...as of yet...I have had no offers...please offer me the same courtesy...

Thanks, Michael, I'll do the same for you. You asked first, so you'll get first shot, but I'm hoping we might both get lucky with this figure.

Great setup Mike. I didn't even know you collected the crusades. You should post some more pics of the scene. It really looks terrific.

thanks for the comments on the collection...I just showed the pics so any potential seller of the "Dinner Figure" would take me seriously...I will take some nicer pictures in the near future...hopefully that new figure will be in them...^&grin
