Here is an interesting response back from an eBay seller. I emailed him and said..."I suspect your item is not K&C"...I'm not familiar with this Arab tribesman? I believe your camel may be from the St. Petersburg Collection, made in Russia...King & Country items were made in Hong Kong.

Here is his response{eek3}...

Really??? Most of King and Country were made in Russia in the early 90's. The Arab has 076 Made in Russia...I just called it Arab tribesman cause I do not know what the real name is. I was ammmmmmmazed, in fact I thought I could cut out the middle man...and get my items from Russia and spent some time looking for them in Russia....The King and Country Guys kept the factory location a secret...you are 100% wrong about K& C being made in Hong Kong at that time. I lived there for seven years and dealt on a regular basis with K& C.......I do not know after 1997 where they were made, but I am positive that they got most of their stuff from Russia............but it does not matter, some people are just hard headed, I am one of those......but I would suggest that you educate yourself on the early K&C in Hong Kong. I wish I could find the St Petersburg collection.........In fact the police officer I bought at the King and Country Sore, was one of their first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So unless you own King and Country and no where the factory is in HK...and where it was in the 90's............never mind I am getting angry.............

I thought the factories were in china not HK. when I was last there you could hardly swing a cat let alone have room for a TS factory.

Fancy not being able to reply to a question because you are getting yourself so angry sad people!!!

Tom...

Its probably something akin to tennis elbow!! You get it from holding all that heavy polystone and metal made in russian factories near chernobyl, hence you get K&C sore!!LOL

Markey,

Mr. Happy is probably confused since K&C used to or maybe still does sell St. Petersburg figures from their HC store. I can not imagine getting so worked up over something like that-makes you wonder how he would deal with a real crisis. Wow!

this is not anger, it is eccentricity. don't take it personally unless it tries to kick you in nuts. they do more harm to themselves than anybody else.
