Pipeline Miniatures: The First K&C Competitor (2 Viewers)

Really interesting stuff, I secured a Winter T34 and a Hanomag, along with the Russian GAZ Jeep (I got it b/c I don't remember any other company making one). Only item I wished I would have gotten was the Firefly and the Stug. Really been a run on the stuff lately!!!

Tom

Well just had to nab me one of those Russian GAZ Jeeps :D Got it on an ebay auction from the same seller yesterday. Looking forward to receiving it, it looks pretty cool in the auction photo:cool:

My severely understrength red army has received some more troops (they can now start pushing back the germans from Vladivostok cos thats as far as the germans would have got in the toy soldier world:D:D):D They'll take berlin yet! These are pipeline figures , they are much smaller than K&C , too small to display side by side so I threw a quick scene together with some conte germans:)

Guys,
Thanks for the history lesson. I never heard of pipeline minatures. I enjoyed the pictures and the comments.
Lou;)

WoW - I never knew these guys existed ?

Must have been cool back in the day !

My Defense Budget is geared to the more recent version of Toy Soldiers - but, those look interesting.

Hi I'm Denver and I started Pipeline miniatures back then after leaving Carnegie Miniatures. For a while It was going great guns as i was enjoying the interest from customers but as you said king and country who where smaller then only producing wooden tanks and figures. Still sometimes I wish I had carried on but hey cant turn clock back now, still I have quite a collection myself including a few tiger tanks and a cromwell that never reached the public. Still I sometimes put some on ebay once in a while

Denver,
glad to see your post. I love your stuff and still have it, at least what Louis hasn't pried away from me!

Great to hear from you,
