Got paid on Wednesday so couldn't help but get some more pieces with the intention to save till Christmas morning!

Well we all knew that wouldn't work"^&grin

Ordered my first JG Miniatures Grass mat: WOW it's really good, grass isn't too long that figures can't stand and topple over but long enough for figures to be slightly hidden behind it when prone!^&grin

Ordered a couple more of the cobblestone road mats but they're still to arrive with some street lamps and some cobblestone square sections!^&grin

Got a couple of the fir trees and two of the new destroyed trees! They are brilliant, moss on the sides and everything!^&cool

In my collection there is a severe lack of fighting germans so I decided to get a couple of german items, hj officer running and the 2 man set with a hj lying prone firing and another hj with hand in the air. These figures are brilliant, the hj officer pose is so life like as he is running while trying to keep his body low!^&grin The face of the hj with hand in air is so life like, as if he is shouting 'HOLD!'{eek3}

Also picked up what may be my final King and Country 45th line figure up, the one advancing with rifle horizontal! Love these figures, wish King an Country would make a few more of these figures, maybe a few more wounded, helping wounded comrade or something like this?

Finally got some of those square 6x6 bases of grass with hedges on one side for the arnhem diorama! They look great!^&grin

Scott, your pay cheque must have been quite important!!!! probably- when I look at all your purchases- inclusive of a Xmas bonus ????
Have you any money left for New Year ?????

Hello Scott:

Yes, John Gittins of England does a slendid job with all his diorama items. They are a bit expensive, but they can really add to made a diorama look great.

Haha!^&grin

Went to a k&c dealer in glasgow today and bought a discontinued german set too haha!^&grin Hoping to see jg miniatures expand with more items, maybe some structures designed for king and country on the small square bases which are not damaged, or at least are standing?

Nice purchases. I think I may have been to the same Glasgow dealer a short while ago as I have been in Scotland its a nice shop and a decent bloke runs it
Merry Christmas though, if you have opened everything it may now be quiet!!
