Thanks Chris. When taking the photos I was trying to make sure the bases were not visible. I got down on a low enough level to keep them hidden. Also, when placing the figures on the BAR mat, I pulled up on the grass as much as I could as well.

Works very well, those ground level shots are very realistic. A "combat photographer's" like view. Chris
 
Very very good. What kind of lens are you using? Looks like a wide angle which throws the outer edge out in perspective giving a visual sense of distance to the lead soldier on the far right.

Thanks. Actually no special lens used, just a standard digital camera on regular setting. Must have been by accident to get that effect.^&grin
