My new US paras have arrived and they look amazing ! I also love the packaging! Going to look great in my Normandy village scene

Congrats. Sure they were well worth waiting for :smile2:

Mine are still flying in the Dakota waiting to be dropped over Belgium
guy:)

is it only me that thought that said US Paras Camel ??

And yes the detail is remarkable ( as ever) and definitely worth the wait!

I just received the four 101st today in a deal from a french dealer where certain items were in a summer special until 31 august. Not interested in the 82 airborne but, these are ok figures

I do this but make sure the picture numbers are not larger than 1100 in the bottom box or the forum does not allow them to be uploaded. I usually use 925 in the top box and it automatically does the lower for you.
Mitch

Thanks for the tip I will try that tomorrow morning :)

I'm sure you know but due to the massively screwed up air drops in Normandy there were quite a few cases of "mingling" between the two divisions. Men from one division would find the nearest friendly guys and start the war from there. So you are free to mix 82nd with 101st and be more historically correct than if you had each unit "pure". I took several days for the units to get sorted out.

That's a good point Gary. I remember a quote that went along the lines of 'You basically had mixed groups of aggressive, highly trained young men armed to the teeth wandering the countryside looking for Germans' to kill ! I thought that summed it up in a nutshell!

I saw these at Sierra Toy Solider yesterday. They are fantastic. They all have great poses and are very versatile in that they can be used in a wide array of dios.

Also, IMO, this is one of the examples where the photos do not do the figures justice. When seen in person you truly get a feel for the detail, color etc.
