Hi

I'm in a bit of s situation on ebay, I won a set of figures and paid just over £200. This was 3 weeks ago now and nothing has turned up. I've emailed the seller who said straight away he would refund me on the 2nd week which seemed a bit odd as you would think the figures would still show up. Well it's been just over 3 now and no figures and no refund. The seller had listed other items and won't reply to my queries. I don't really want to open a case against him as he has great feedback and I'm just wandering if he's busy or something's happend in his private life. I don't know what to do really.

Nothing ever goes smooth for me on ebay, think I'm cursed.

I'd open a case,that's a lot of money.

I would open a dispute at least to just get a dialogue going. It will force the seller to respond otherwise you will simply get your money back if he does nothing. EBAY is completely on the buyers side for disputes unless there is a tracking number than it becomes a postal issue if there is insurance

Before you open a case, is the seller based in the US? If so, I'd wait at least another week because shipping takes longer this time of year.

I would open a case immediately. Protect yourself and if they turn up then close the case. I think you have waited long enough. The case does not affect his feedback but, at £200 he should be getting back to you nobody is that busy not to reply

Hi

Well I sent him another email asking for a reply at least and just voiced that i feel a bit ripped off. I will give him until tomorrow to reply and then I will open a case. Brad he's from the uk and I just said something must have gone wrong in the posting process. I paid £6 for postage so it should be recorded but he won't reply to anything.

Regards
Liam

Liam,

In that case, do it immediately and don't wait. Like Mitch said, if you get it soon, then no harm but better to preserve your rights than not.

Also contact PayPal if you paid that way.

The postage seems cheap, would have expected it to be a lot more. In 700 Ebay purchases, everything has come for me, but some items around 4 weeks and at this time of year, all of that. Thinking the seller has not replied based on thinking the item will turn up soon and negate the bother of a reply. Check his number of sales and feedback success, if it is 100%, that should give you confidence. I always ask for air mail postage which on a 200 pound purchase would expect to be around £30, if it's gone surface, there could be 10 weeks depending on where you are. Good luck, Robin.

I agree with Brad, if the seller is in the U.S. it may take 3 weeks to arrive to the UK. That being said if you have a gut feeling something is amiss open a dispute. Good Luck with this ! ^&cool
