Andy has done some great WWII desert pieces over the years, but to me there are still a couple that could be made/updated, most notably the Sherman, Lee and Stuart "Honey" tanks. Maybe since a new British Stuart is out, a desert version won't be long behind. Also, the Grant could easily be converted to a Lee with a different turret and minor changes.

One of my favorites done so far is the Aussie M13/40. I remember as a kid long ago building a 1/35 Tamiya version of this tank with the Kangaroo markings and always thought that was "cool". Anyway, here's to hoping for some new Allied armor soon. Thanks though Andy for what we've had so far.

Duke ,

I also really like the K&C M13/40 , it is an iconic Italian tank...Without doubt the british captured a plethora of these after the success of Operation Compass...
Snatched up the Italian version on it's release...A very rare opportunity to have Italian armor in your collection...!
As for allied armor would be good to see a Stuart in desert version...

Joe,

I wish I would have gotten the Italian version as well as yours looks nice. I think they went very fast when released.

Duke ,

I couldn't press the buy button fast enough for this Italian tank when the " 250 " series was announced...How often are you going to be able to buy an Italian AFV that is in Italian service ?!? Kind of the same thing happened when the French Char B1 was released , the first run sold out so fast , they were forced to do a second run in new color scheme...Anyways , the M13/40 is a cool medium tank !

Joe,

I was able to pick up the French Char B1 and am glad I did. Maybe I'll come across a K&C Italian M13/40 one day and have another chance at it. :)

Duke ,

Yes , i really like the French Char B1...Great looking unique tank...The Italian version M13/40 would be a good pick-up , would work well in a scene with some DAK Armor !
I must say i am getting inspired to do a dio...Maybe this spring...

Duke, Looks like your collection of K&C armored vehicles is coming along quite nicely ! :wink2: :salute::
