Blowtorch provided these excellent photos of the currently available Panzer III models on a Collectors Showcase thread requesting dimensions to determine scale. I have borrowed the photos for this thread as they provide an excellent basis for a comparison of the three currently available Panzer III from Collectors Showcase, First Legion and King & Country.
The K&C and FL Panzer III are aproximatly 1/30 scale. The CS Panzer III is 1/27.5 Scale which is a good match with the larger figures being made today by most manufacturers except First Legion; whose figures are actually a measured 60MM. The paint on all three Panzer III is excellent. The details on two of the three are excellent and the historical accuracy of all three is very good.
I find it of particular interest that the First Legion Grey Panzer III made of resin and the Collectors Showcase Yellow Panzer III made of poly stone have equivalent detail and definition or crispness of that detail. Obviously from these examples poly stone can equal resin for detail rendition when properly molded or CS is using a more advanced version of poly stone.
I would like to hear opinions of the quality of these examples of the Panzer III. Regards

I have two of the three pictured but, as yet don't have the CS. I agree it has decent detail but, I don't know if CS are using polystone as standard. Some of the releases don't have the weight to be polystone IMO

I repainted my Panzer III and made it a grey version and it was not bad at that time but, I think the CS and FL are far better versions.

the only thing I would like to see on an FL would be a metal turned barrel. That is the only thing in terms of detail extra's that I would like to see

The weight of poly stone is determined by the percentage of powdered metal filler that is used. I also think, but I am not certain that more metal equals better detail. I am sure Brian could tell us what he is using and why it seems an improvement over standard poly stone.
