August Dispatches - Eighth Army and Saracens (3 Viewers)

John Wayne was not a great actor. He played himself each time. It was the same character over and over. I think that he was a great icon though. I have watched a number of old Richard Burton films and I am convonced that he wasn't acting either. I think he simply played himself each time. He was alwyas the tragic drunk involved in some illicit romantic affari with somebody elses wife or daughter. People like Meryl Streep and Marlon Brnadon are great actors becuase the roles thye play are so diverse. The other like John Wayne and Richard Burto are great cultural icons. They are still great nevertheless.

Even for someone who as no real interest in this period of History i have to say these figures are stunning.Absolutely superb.

I may get the Bishop, just because it reminds me of the priests I've seen when I lived in Spain.

:D They do look wonderful but sooner or later i have call a halt to starting new lines.I've been fighting off the urge to start collecting Naps for months as well,but i've come through the cold turkey and i'm ok again now!
