Hoping to see some more British Airborne and Glider troops this year!
How about a handcart being pulled by two paras? Filled with mortar/piat rounds and ammo boxes?
Hopefully Andy takes the same approach to MG as he takes to the 'Real West' series with the detail to blood and guts. Would love to see more dead/wounded as well as walking wounded or 'fighting wounded' bloosy bandaged arms and legs, ripped smocks, while firing, loading, fixing bayonets and pointing towards the enemy!
Ambulance.jeep is due! As is stretcher team!
Aside from the direct combat figures I think figures looking through their backpacks, sitting on an ammo box taking drinks from a canteen. Digging fox holes, slit trenches, unloading/loading supplies/equipment/vehicles. Unloading drop canister/wicker pannier baskets!
More personalities: Hackett, Baskeyfield, Browning.
Para searching dead German body.
Paras sitting at the roadside captured.
Would be brilliant although highly unlikely to see a blown up jeep upturned and contorted out of shape with flat tires and a seperate dead para available to be put underneath as if the jeep is on top of them Could be a half figure?
Paras with captured germans/talking to civvies.
The polson quad would be cool. In the reenacting world a brit reenactor spoke to a veteran who was tasked with firingbone of the two pieces which went into Arnhem. He said that the mount was on a trailer attached to a jeep so the men would stay in the gun then the driver of the jeep would drive round Oosterbeek looking for German armoured cars and tanks Once found they would fire at lowest trajectory into them then dart round the corner to find the next lot of Germans haha! They were not used for aa fire!
And a modified truck/tractor for pulling the artillery!
