Hoping to see some more British Airborne and Glider troops this year!

How about a handcart being pulled by two paras? Filled with mortar/piat rounds and ammo boxes?

Hopefully Andy takes the same approach to MG as he takes to the 'Real West' series with the detail to blood and guts. Would love to see more dead/wounded as well as walking wounded or 'fighting wounded' bloosy bandaged arms and legs, ripped smocks, while firing, loading, fixing bayonets and pointing towards the enemy!

Ambulance.jeep is due! As is stretcher team!

Aside from the direct combat figures I think figures looking through their backpacks, sitting on an ammo box taking drinks from a canteen. Digging fox holes, slit trenches, unloading/loading supplies/equipment/vehicles. Unloading drop canister/wicker pannier baskets!

More personalities: Hackett, Baskeyfield, Browning.

Para searching dead German body.

Paras sitting at the roadside captured.

Would be brilliant although highly unlikely to see a blown up jeep upturned and contorted out of shape with flat tires and a seperate dead para available to be put underneath as if the jeep is on top of them Could be a half figure?

Paras with captured germans/talking to civvies.

The polson quad would be cool. In the reenacting world a brit reenactor spoke to a veteran who was tasked with firingbone of the two pieces which went into Arnhem. He said that the mount was on a trailer attached to a jeep so the men would stay in the gun then the driver of the jeep would drive round Oosterbeek looking for German armoured cars and tanks Once found they would fire at lowest trajectory into them then dart round the corner to find the next lot of Germans haha! They were not used for aa fire!

And a modified truck/tractor for pulling the artillery! ;)

Plenty of food for thought here. Hope something is released this year, long time between meals these days for my core series MG,LOJ,AE,LH. Robin.

Anything in particular you'd like to see bud?

Scott

At the end of the day Scott, there is no getting past Andy, what he does not know about especially in WW11 is not worth talking about. I would be pleased with anything that is released, Andy knows films like a bridge to far, backwards, so his imagination has no limits. Hopefully some of your suggestions will be taken up though, as they are interesting. I think the jeep ambulance will surface for sure. Robin.

Hi Guys, hi Scott,

Many thanks for the suggestions...Some, if not all, of your ideas are already “in the works” PLUS a few “unusual ones” of our own that I think (and hope) you will like also.

“Operation Market Garden” continues to be one of my own favorite WW2 subjects and continues to provide plenty of scope for additional items.

All collectors’ suggestions are welcomed and evaluated by the K&C team and provide a valuable source of extra information and creativity...Keep ‘em coming!

Thanks for taking the time to look at my post Andy!

Strong personal preference would be to see British paratroopers at Arnhem in action poses as defiant rather than defeated or dead. Would accept “fighting wounded”. With regard to the Polsten 20mm Anti-Aircraft Gun, No.2 Mk II; you might want to glance at;http://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-polsten-20mm-gun-at-operation.html. For Airborne Ambulance Jeep see; http://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-airborne-jeeps-of-1st-airborne.html. For information on the C.8/AT 30 cwt Quad Field Artillery Tractor (FAT) (Airborne configuration) see;http://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/2011/09/general-aircraft-gal-50-other-wwii.html and http://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/2012/06/hamilcar-gliders-at-operation-market.html. You may also be interested to know that Airfix has re-issued their highly detailed model of the 17pdr AT Gun, albeit in 1:32 scale.

I go on your website a lot for referencing mate! It's brilliant stuff!

And I'm up for any releases but no one can deny that there were lots of captured, wounded and dead paras then. They add realism to a dio!

Scott

Or how about a shot up recce jeep missing a vickers machine gun and a Recce squadron para running about with his vickers mg from the jeep under his arms? Just like in Theirs is the Glory!

Scott

17lb.would be very nice!!

The fact that Andy has made 2 of the 3 different artillery pieces which were used by the brita at Arnhem is amazing!
Scott

Airlanding MP like the ones that landed wirh Urquhart.

Paras pulling in their chutes!

Scott

I've mentioned these suggestions before on a different thread...

A single release of british airborne trailer would be cool!

And a jeep on its own with no driver!

Scott

I'd love to see those Waffen-SS personalities as well! And some updated Waffen-SS soldiers as well.

Model of only Bulldozer to arrive from 261 Fd Pk Coy*being driven by Sapper Boden.

Another recce jeep, this time in action pose!

Standard jeep with single vickers mg with trailer belinging to 7 KOSB!

Scott

Andy could we see some trailers sold seperately? So we can have stand alone trailers or stick some at the end of a jeep?

Not sure if it's correct, but I also use DD162 trailer which is still available, it hooks on to the MG jeeps. Robin,

It's wrong for the arnhem scene unless andy brings out an american radio jeep marked up as the us fighter control unit attached to 1st AB with three crew, including a british driver!
