I was just the opposite. I use to collect only glossy, traditional figures, but I came to appreciate matte, action figures as well. I must have close to 1,000 of the later by now.

Richard,

I used to think like you when I first got started but over time I've come to like the glossy figures and really appreciate them. Over time, you may too.

No, i just like the realism and the glossy just looks fake

Hmmmm. I prefer my automobiles in glossy paint; in matte, they would look like a junker. Also, I liked bright shinny toys when I was a kid---no dull, unrealistic matte paint for me.

Hmmm....I suspect the previous post was written somewhat tongue in cheek. Have just had a mental flash of a couple of bored German sentries.

"Gott in Himmel Otto, I'm bored tonight. Zis Atlantic Wall duty is so far from zah action".
"I have had a great idea Hans. Donner und Blitzen, why don't we repaint zah Commendant's Kubelwagen in zah glossy yellow".
"Ja Otto, that'll fill in a night before I go on leave tommorow. Aaah, zah 6th of June in zah *** Paree, I can hardly wait".
:D:eek::D

Haw-Haw. I wrote that post for a bit of fun around 09:00AM this morning, so "Not Guilty, M'Lud"......But there will be some Tsing Tao later tonight at the Karaoke Bar...... :)
If you want really freaky - we've just watched "A Bridge Too Far" dubbed into Chinese (?) Could still follow it of course, but its the first time that Little Boss has seen it in her own language. She gave it the big "Thumbs Up".
