Hi Guys,

Tomorrow morning I fly out to California and “The Annual K&C/SIERRA TOY SOLDIERS DAY” this coming Saturday 19th at SIERRA TOY SOLDIERS in Los Gatos… Looking forward to seeing some of you in person.

On next Monday it’s off to Chicago for the Toy Soldier Show and a great week there…

As a littler “taster…” here’s just one of the special dioramas we have created for the show… “ARNHEM AMBUSH” – Hope you like it… ENJOY!

All the best,
Andy

Andy,

Simply Outstanding and Fun to watch. The whole Diorama setup is a beauty. I Plan on viewing this several more times at Least ! :salute::

yep spotted Scott. Series has lot's of legs yet. K&C fell on it's feet when they picked to recreate this battle right back to 1994 with their Arnhem44 and now in the 2000's Market Garden. Great little video clip. Robin.

Great looking dio Andy. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the video.

Inspired by the video and new figure. Robin.

very nice set up andy, it gets the juices flowing for chicago

This New General Kussin Ambush set seems it will be extremely popular among WWII K&C Collectors.....I plan on getting one myself {sm4}

...In Nijmegen yesterday and today, headed up to Arnhem tomorrow. Looking forward to touring "Kussin's Crossroads."

Here's the Grave Bridge...captured intact by LT Thompson and 15 Paratroopers from E Co 504th PIR/82nd Airborne Division...all because he saw that the Troop Carrier pilots were dropping the other aircraft too early (near the town of Velp), and he didn't lead his stick out until they were closer to the bridge.

Crossed the Waal today (by the bridge, though I went to the riverbank in the vicinity of where 3/504 launched the river assault from), and went up to the site of the Driel/Heavadorp ferry site (where the Poles tried to cross and where the 1st Airborne evacuated from). Sorry, no photos today.

Arnhem and Oosterbeek tomorrow!

ATW!

Thanks for posting, gives you an idea of just how big the bridge is. It must have been scary stuff getting across it under fire.

Cheers.

Great video/diorama thread. Really cool pieces being released by K&C and it looks like we even have some more pieces to look forward too! OMG in my opinion is the flagship line K&C creates and I think its just awesome. :salute::

I saw some of the Arnhem pieces, old and new, today and they look rather nice. I picked up one and may pick up another before I leave.

Nice one Robin, bet you have been itching to get that car!

Tom
