I watched Lone Survivor the other night...

I think this guy was modeled after one of the Taliban in the show...:tongue:

you are absolutely right...

they do resist change...

some of the mountain people still live in the Stone Age...

if they only change they made was from the AK-47 to the AK40's series...

it wasn't necessary...

the AK-47 is still the preferred weapon of most of the world and almost all the 3rd world countries...

simple to work on with only 8 moving parts...

reliable...through any type of weather...
bury it in mud...
run over it with a tank...
a dust storm...
hot or cold climate...
it still fires...

I have a Chinese model...

I have 10-30-round loaded clips that I'm saving for the Apocalypse...

plus another 400-500 rounds...^&grin

If you leave them loaded do the springs in the clips wear out?

I have been told it's not the way to store a clip...

but when I unload them...the spring is VERY STRONG...

Nice figure. Perhaps you could tone down the blue and green, give them a more faded looked.

Funnily enough the first batch I did were very muted and dusty, Ken didnt like them and wanted a bit of colour.

With Heritage (and R4A) being painted to order you can have them anyway you want within reason.
