Is it really out of stock so fast? It has just taken a couple of weeks! I wonder how many copies were made and how is possible the beautiful DAKs PzIII are still for sale which were made years ago...{sm4}
First Legion needs to RE-RELEASE a Grey Stalingrad Panzer III and a Grey Stug III......In a limited re-release it would sell out very quickly.....The DEMAND is there.... now we just need to see the product RE-RELEASED.
Well said :salute::First Legion needs to release some later war German Normandy armor before they start re-releasing tanks they have already done.

Why re-release anything ?? I just don't understand the desire to always go backwards. They could just make a better new tanker figure with binoculars and old and new collectors will be just as happy. First Legion continue to improve and I'm always looking forward to seeing what's coming next not hoping to see them rehash the same thing over and over again every couple of years.
It's strange but I never see collectors of other manufactures asking for them to go back and re-release old product over and over. If I miss something, well I just look forward to seeing what will come next... and if its something I can't live without I buy it and before it's gone.
When they release a camo heavy tank for Normandy it's gonna be the ****, I'd much rather see them putting resources to making that happen but that's just my opinion.
If there is demand for a product, it will not hurt to revisit it. I am going to bet if those Stalingrad Stugs gets revisited, there will be buyers. Not unless Matt destroys the molds, once it gets retired.
As time passes by, there will be new hobbyists that discovers this side..... Do we say To tough your late....
We as collectors I believe has experienced that feeling. Not unless that person has such a large disposable income all the time. But that kind of person, I believe is such a small portion of this hobby. That most of us is a small but steady buyers, and hate losing out in not having a certain piece...
As Matt indicated, just out temporarily. When an item is retired, First Legion removes the item from the website. If there's a figure I'm interested in (but not yet ready to purchase), I check inventory to make sure.
A few weeks ago, I was thinking of purchasing the Austrian flagbearer in the Napoleonic range and a check of the inventory indicated that it was in single digits. I confirmed with Matt that the remaining inventory was it, no more after they was exhausted, and quickly made my purchase.
Well IMO I disagree:rolleyes2:....If the DEMAND is there re-release the product. That's a win win for both collectors and for the manufacturer....FL should feel free to re-release products if most collectors are willing to make purchases and should not worry about the "nay-sayers" who seem to be more concerned it seems to me about the exclusivity of owning a product that others don't have but are willing to purchase....I own many FL products and I have no problem if someone else can purchase the same items... If it sells to those collectors who missed it the first time around that's fine by me....That's my opinion and it makes sense.
Same with me with the Austrian flagbearer. The same minute that I noticed it was gone from the FL page, I ordered it from a dealer.I had been wanting to add it for 2 years.
As one of the "nay-sayers" for FL re-releasing old items, it has nothing whatsoever to do with any sort of exclusivity nonsense.
It's based off statements Matt at FL has made that when they re-release items or do an extra production run of tanks (like on the grey Panzer IVs) it delays the releases of new items. FL already did grey Panzer IIIs and StuGs and they were available for 1-2 years to be purchased. Sorry you and others never pulled the trigger, but that shouldn't delay releases of other items that there is more demand for like Normandy German armor.
I have absolutely no problem with FL revisiting grey Panzer IIIs and StuGs at some point in the future, but it should not delay Normandy German armor or other tanks that FL has never even done once. If FL revisits grey Panzer IIIs and StuGs it would also make more sense from a business perspective to make a new model or different Ausf of each, like a short barrel StuG and a short barrel 50mm Panzer III without the spaced armor. Then you could sell a new tank not only to those who missed out the first time around, but also would have potential buyers from those of us who have the old models.
