Hi Guys,

As most of you know K&C and yours truly are fascinated by the “DESERT WAR 1940-43” and the part played by small units such as the Long Range Desert Group and the Special Air Service.

Here’s a little preview of a few more figures that will be appearing soon to add on to any “Desert Collectors” displays

We’ve put them alongside the current “Daimler Armoured Car” EA093 and one of the long-retired “LRDG Chevrolets”… now long gone!

Hope you like them… Enjoy!

Andy

Hi Guys,

Sorry about the wrong spelling of "RENDEZVOUS"... That's what it should be!

Best wishes,
Andy

That's ok Andy, we know you Scot's re-invent words all the time....^&grin

Very nice figures to go with those two awesome vehicles. Hopefully someday we'll see another Chevy appear!

Having personally initiated a thread titled "Easterm Esposure," you have my deepest sympathies..

Thanks for the new figs, BTW!;)

Nice looking additions. Now, what about a Ford? :wink2:

Here is an example of a Ford that could be made, a Ford F 30 CMP.

This site, Long Range Desert Group, which is one of the better sites on the LRDG, shows other vehicles that could be made.

These new figures are top notch and a "must buy" for me! I'm going to love creating a little "Raid on Rommel" scene with these. At the same time, I'm sad that I don't own one of the retired LRDG Chevy Trucks. The one pictured has always been on my wish list but they go for a hefty price on the 2nd hand market. The Ford F30 CMP would be a nice future release. A re-released Chevy or new Ford would make my day!

Very nice figures! Thanks for sharing them with us.

Cheers,

Brendan

Thanks Andy for another excellent series but err don't they need some new DAK to offer some resistance - maybe your brilliant new Sahariana in desert cammo or even a burnt Luftwaffe warbird....

How about a re-release/ remake of the LRDG trucks, plus the Jeeps Andy.

I'm very impressed with these new figures Andy and can't wait to get my hands on these three. It's been a while since we've had some new releases of this kind for the LRDG & SAS ranges, so very happy mate!:salute::

Paras, Commandos, FJ's, SAS and LRDG... I like to collect the troops that did more with less and challenged the conventional way of fighting battles...
