Sorry Guys,

Great show but I had limited access to the Internet and the Neville's have been doing such a great job anyway. I tip my hat to them and fine the reporting they have been doing prior to and during the show. All FM30 or 1/30 scale.

Here are some picture and please forgive me for the shaky camera hand and my challenges I had with the unpredictable lightening.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

In spite of your shaky camera hand, you have taken some excellent pictures of the E-Boat. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness in taking and posting these pictures. Your pictures show the outstanding detail of the boat and the figures.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

It looks like Figarti means business. What a wonderful and realistic line of products they are producing. Rick, I am amazed! Good luck my friend....Nick

The E-Boat (what the Germans actually referred to as a "Schnellenboat" which translates as "Fast-Boat" - we called it an "E-Boat" because it was an "Enemy-Boat") model was fantastic. The figures on board were the best Figarti has done to date (probably because they were 1:30 scale, an easier scale to get superior detail in). The model had real brass "screws" (propellers, not the things you need a screwdriver for), and other innovations such as the deckhouse lifting off to show the interior of the bridge, and the machine gun platform rotating. It, like Figarti's last principal "shock and awe" piece, the Tiger, rates AAA+++ in my humble opinion.

As an aside, the V1 and V2 sets were exceptional, and Rick indicated that they were just the beginning: Fuel vehicles, command cars, extended crews and launch sites would all follow to permit a complete diorama to be made around either rocket.

The LRDG trucks were also fantastic, and at 1:30 scale, those of us who colelct both K&C and Figarti can now easily use the two together on the same diorama.

Finally, the figures themselves have again improved approximately a letter grade - from "C" to "C+" last year to a "B" to "B+" (with a couple of "A-" as well as a couple of "C" on various really well done or really poorly positioned individual figures) at this show.

I was really impressed with the Figarti team's efforts, and I look forward to what the next year will hold. Great job guys!

Can it get much better than this? I don't see how. The price may seem a bit high - but the russians are selling single 54mm figures in the $500+ range. Frankly, the price seems more than fair when you think about all that you are getting here. Size may be another issue. If so, just move into a bigger house. Problem solved.

Carlos along with Pat thanks for the pictures and I've yet to see any you've posted to date poorly done. Hope you ventured into other parts of the show with your magical camera......The Lt.

Don't forget to factor in the 15 figures that come with it or the fact that the B-17 has never been done in a fully-assembled 1/30 scale product before.
We're working to get the new products on line for your perusal although we're a bit thin on product images right now. We have pricing for all but the prototypes at this point.

The B-17 is part of Figarti's FM32 line, so it is 1/32 scale. K&C had a few 1/32 wooden B-17's many years ago as evidenced by the famous picture of Andy, Louis and Brad (am I missing someone?).:)

I understand that Figarti dealers will be taking orders, then Figarti will directly ship the E-boat to collectors. Since these boats are basically made when there are orders, collectors who want to position their own figures should ask for the option of having the 15 figures loose and not glued to the boat.:)

That is OUTSTANDING work ! Congratulations - great items and wonderful timing. From all the reports that I have heard you certainly had the "Shock and Awe" of the Show. Well Done.

I certainly appreciate all the hard work it takes to bring these products to market and compete in this arena - your Comapny has made an impressive contribution to the Toy Soldier Collecting World. My congratulations.

Ron
