German Panther Type G - RUSTY RELIC (1 Viewer)

This has just rolled off the work bench... For a while now I have wanted to step outside the square and start getting into "rusty texture" with a view of building a "bombed wreck". As such I have started playing around with pigments to get the real texture look as well as various layers with the rusty washes... The kit is the Tamiya 1/35 Military Miniature Series No.174, Item No: 35174, {sm3}, Panzerkampfwagen V, Panther Ausf.G, (Sd.Kfz.171) mit Stahlrollenlaufwerk. Enjoy the pictures... :Cheers, Marc

Another excellent job Marc. I have recently visited the Munster Tank Museum in Germany and I have to say that your model is every bit as realistic as the real thing with the exception that your model is weathered while the real Panther is in good nick paint wise.
