Again I must bring this Point of View ; that the British (DUNKIRK) FOB Figure's are getting SMALLER in Size? Great quality Figure's, like these and many other's have been Downsized? To me there a Highly Up-Graded 1/32nd Scale? The PRICE'S, are going Up, and we should be able to Pay for the QUALITY, in Size Compatability, like K & C had in the PAST! SKRINKAGE, is just a FARCE with the China Sculpture's! I Personnaly know we're geeting the Old Chinese Squeeze, from Communist China! NICE Face Expression's, but Smaller in Size! We're could we go from here?
Following up on Rob's point, and as miniature guy has said elsewhere (more or less), if you like it, buy it and if you don't, don't. I don't want to speak for the manufacturers but I suspect they would say the same thing.
I think this whole issue is overblown and it gets tiresome to read about it. The only thing I care about is how the figures look and how they're sculptured. If it's not exactly 1/30 so what? I'm not going to fret or lose sleep about it. If they're not sculpted well, don't look good and are seriously historically inaccurate then I will get excited. Perhaps it's because I've only been collecting for three years that I'm not wedded to these 1/30 and 1/32 distinctions. When I first purchased my first K & C set, EA 01, in 2004 it was because how realistic the set looked. That was why I purchased it. I didn't get out my ruler.
Sometimes, I think we spend too much time worrying about the small details and not seeing the forest from the trees.
