Hey guys,

I was curious as to your views on K&C antennas.

Do you use them or are they more a hindrance?
If you do use them, do you like them straight or bent?
Do you find that they usually sit in most tanks pretty straight or do you find yourself trying to position them "just right"?

Share your view on K&C antennas.

I have it on a KC tiger and I use it, but I would have preferred it was straight.

Antennas..? Straight or ***...It makes no difference to me as long as they are happy...What two Antennas get up to in the privacy of their own tank is none of my business...And I certainly think Governments should stay out of the whole issue and not get involved...Leave it to individual states and collectors to make the final decision!

Best wishes... whichever way your antenna bends, Andy.

Andy, you're a nut! That's a good one though. ^&grin

I can understand that.
Leave them in the closet. (so to speak) ^&grin

I like them straight as well Poppo.

Some like it "bent", if your that way inclined. :wink2:^&grin I'll also say that I like mine straight! ^&grin

Tom

sometimes I use the antennas from the box but most of the time I replace them by a self made antenna , straight or bent what suits best in the diorama
guy:smile2:

I'm with Guy on this one, although if push came to shove I wouldn't mind a slight curve in mine thanks.:tongue:{eek3}

Stop this now, you are all making this to confusing. Australia has to vote next week on same sex marriage and your comments are just not helping. I am already worried I am going to vote the wrong way{eek3}^&confuse^&confuse^&grin,
Robin.

Robin mate, I think you are getting confused, we are talking about antennas! :wink2: I think you better lie down and have a nap. ^&grin

Y'know there's a little pill you can take that will 'straighten-out' your antenna...and have the ladies gasping in delight!!!

Andy.

.......Purely for safety reasons, but I was about to ask members how long they thought an average antenna should be and whether or not they thought a wee flag on the end helps??:tongue:

The reason I ask is I have had the misfortune of pricking myself on several occasions with wayward antenna's while mucking about with my 'models' late at night.{eek3}:wink2:

I suppose "Antenna Antics" was the perfect title for this thread. {sm4}

EDIT: For those of you who make your own antennas, what material do you use?

EDIT: and for those of you with "wee antennas", just remember that it's not about length but rather how you use it. :eek:

Hi Rob,

I need to bend the antenna when I use display case to keep my diorama, as you can see below. It seems pretty cool, isn't it? :eek:

Cheers

Really. Why do you have this happen only late at night? Is it because it's dark or is alcohol involved? :rolleyes2:^&grin
