For the first time in over 5 years, I, John Jenkins, will be travelling to the USA.

It will also be the first time that I will attend the 77th ANNUAL MINIATURE FIGURE COLLECTORS OF AMERICA SHOW AND MART, held this year on Friday and Saturday, May 4th and 5th, 2018, at the Radisson Philadelphia-Northeast.

JJDESIGNS will be previewing at the show, a display of over 30 new prototypes, and a new WW2 tank model.
These will be displayed at one of the Minutemen Toy Soldiers table.

Further details regarding the visit to the MFCA SHOW will be announced over the next few weeks.

JJDesigns will be helping to promote several shows throughout 2018. Unfortunately I cannot attend the shows personally, but will be providing through several dealers previews of new prototypes.

Great news John and it will be awesome to see pic's of the new WW2 Tank model.

See you there John!

With John being there displaying AWI prototypes, at least I won't have to worry about Larry wandering off, he'll be glued to the booth.............:wink2:

Great news. I am already anxiously awaiting pictures of the prototypes . . . Only 2 months away . . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Very well, John.

I’m so glad to hear that you will be visiting one of the fine shows here in the U.S.
This year I planned for myself to visit two shows for sure, the one in Texas (already booked) and the one in Chicago (only planned).
Was hoping to be able to meet you at one of them.
However, reading here that you will be visiting the MFCA show, I now will check with my work the next days and see if I can come there.
If I get the necessary time off approved, and a positive nodding :wink2: of my dear wife, I will visit the MFCA show as well.
It’s been a long time that in our occasional emails we talked about meeting at some point. Maybe this time it’s happening.
Would be a great pleasure meeting you.
Getting to see 30 new prototypes eye-to-eye is also quite a treat.
In addition, I always wanted to see the painters competition, and meet our forum friend “the Baron”.
So, I got enough reasons to travel to Philadelphia, I think.
Hopefully it works out and I see you there.

Konrad

Wow that's exciting news, best for along time. Can't wait to see some photos John. Robin.

Konrad, I hope you can make it! It’ll be great to see you!

That is TRUE, George ... but the question is ... WHICH BOOTH! :rolleyes2:

Our booth or John's booth where he will have DOZENS of the new Drums along the Mohawk and other BH goodies. ^&confuse

Can´t wait to put my eyes on this new WWII tank! I cannot stop wondering which one it will be either! Judging by the Jagdpanther, I expect nothing short of awesome!

I think the Gettysburg show is the weekend before this one. It would be great if John could attend that one as well given the proximity to the Philly show.

Yep, with all these temps in the single digits and 4 Blizzards in row, my brain pathways are frozen shut.

Can't wait to see all the new JJD items.

"HOPEFULLY" for Maine, this storm might miss us ... but that is okay George, I wouldn't want to take it away from you, knowing that you love them soooooo much.

At this rate with the snow storms, maybe the "VALLEY FORGE show will be a recreation of the other George's experience in 1777. {sm2}

Although, I suspect with what I see from John's work, all us collectors will brave 3 feet of snow to pick them up.

Yeah.........ok then.

Storms only bother me when they interfere with my ability to make money or when the threat of power outages looms; neither of those are going to happen with this storm.

I just got back from Cold Wars down in Lancaster PA; bought three great books on the Franco Prussian war as well as some palm trees for my 20mm Pacific collection and a couple of nice scenic items for my ACW and FPW layouts, so if we get snow on Wednesday, I've got books to read and terrain to experiment with, so it's all good...........................

Then, sir, life is GOOD! {sm4}

John, see you there

Pat And I have been going to MFCA since the mid 70's, and we will be there for 2018 as well. Having John there is a real and welcome surprise, especially if they have a Draft of Stella on tap at the bar.
Our JJD collections have grown exponentially since we last met in Chicago and Hackensack, but will make sure we have plenty of trunk space for MFCA
