Help with Britain soldiers (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help me with the attached? I have been told that this is a collection that is no longer produced. I know I have been unable to find anything on the web. Thanks for any advice or information.

It is the Scots Guard , 10 piece pipe and drum band set. I think Britains catalogue number was 00092. Take a look at web site http://membres.lycos.fr/toysoldiers/, and you can browse through the Britains catalogues to try and fix the exact date the set was first issued as well as the date it was retired. Thanks so much. I did as you suggested and it looks like it was also issued under 8305 as well as 00092. It first appeared in 1992 as new under 8305 and is still in their most recent posted catalog. It gives me a place to start.

No problem. I found this site about four years ago one winter day when it was too cold to venture outside, and so I played on the computer searching out various soldier web sites. (Living in Buffalo, NY -- I'm afraid I'll have many winter days to do the same again this year!)

Thank you. When I first discovered this web site, it was updated from time to time. I note that it hasn't been updated in a while, even though I see from every so often the owner of the site selling some Britains sets on Ebay.

Have the Hunting Cheetahs, just a spectacular set. Vectis direct also has one right now I think for around a $100 which if I remember is what I paid here in the states.
