I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but I was on the Ricks site yesterday and there is a statement saying they are shutting down the business.
There was some discussion of this in an earlier thread. I think it was discussed that you can order Rick's flags thru Crown Miniatures. Chris
Yes there was, that was for me ordering a special USMC flag. However I am under the impression he will no longer be making any flags.
If this is correct, it is a great resource lost IMO and if someone wants one I would get it soon.
No, it was a different discussion on JJD regarding AWI flags.. He's still making flags thru Crown Miniatures. I have several of his ACW flags.

Yes, that is correct. Rick attended Cold Wars and Historicon, two wargaming conventions, he is not attending Fall In, which is another wargaming convention.
He is selling off his remaining stock and will be shutting down the business.
Rick decided with a growing family he needed to go back to work full time for health care benefits among other things, I talked to him at Cold Wars, I did not attend Historicon.
Unless he had a change of heart since then, that was his plan at Cold Wars back in March.
Thanks George,
I'll reach out to Rick and see if I can get an update; I can only go by what he told me at the show, he's done a **** ton of flags for my 20mm armies, they are by far the best flags on the market...………………...
Hopefully he's doing it as a side business through Crown Miniatures. Agreed, he has the best flags around. Chris
He always sold to Crown, Crown was his "flag representative" at the shows, Rick would not sell 54mm/60mm flags to anyone else, that arrangement has been in place for a long time.
Rick sells 25/28mm, 15mm and 20mm flags himself via mail order and at the wargaming shows.
Is he still doing the 28mm through his website?
Mark
