Thanks Guys,

I had to break down and get a set of these alternate frogskin Marines. Tried a few different backdrops to see which they blended with best. Something about the camo also reminds me of the old GI Joes.

I like those figures, the camo reminds me of that worn in some episodes of Combat I watched as a kid back in the 1960s. A lot of the scenes in Combat included Eucalypt/Gum trees that I found confusing, since learned that these Aussie trees are common in Southern California where the series was shot. The Australian Army used a similar Camo (Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform) for many years, still see a lot of these old uniforms in used clothing shops.
